Independent technical consultancy Amido has kicked off celebrations for its 10-year anniversary by announcing the opening of a new office in Manchester – its first outside London. The office has been set up to support the growing number of clients based in the North including retailer Ralawise and The University of Sheffield’s Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre – AMRC.

The office, based in the Northern Quarter, Manchester’s rapidly growing technology and innovation hub, expects to have over 15 developers, project managers and business analysts by the end of the year to support new and existing clients.

‘The buzz around Manchester at the moment is incredible,’ says Senior BA Consultant, Aly McKenzie who recently re-joined Amido having left in April 2019 to move back up North. ‘I am absolutely delighted to be part of the Amido foundation team up here and, with the talent that there is available here and across the North and North West I have no doubt we will be able to build an outstanding team to support our growth.’
