Senior Frontend Consultant
About the role and what you'll be doing
You can expect to be supporting the Tech Lead and your Amido colleagues on cutting-edge Cloud projects by being responsible for building the front-end solution for one of our clients. This will include designing and building testable systems across both client and server-side.
You will be working across the full project lifecycle closely with your Amido team members, understanding their business and client requirements, navigating through complex stakeholder relationships, and articulating solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences, as well as coaching and mentoring members of the project team.

We are a client-facing business, but we do encourage clients to allow us to work remotely for a majority of the time so if you are not required to be on client site, you can choose to work from home or in our Amido offices.
What you’ll bring to Amido
We are looking for passionate senior developers with a deep understanding of JavaScript and bringing the following skills and experience:
- Front-end engineering using both Typescript and ES6/7 various libraries and frameworks (React, Angular mainly), and CSS, Styled- Components, CSS in-JS, Shadow-Dom, Web-Components.
- Building sub-systems and renders across a mixture of CSR and SSR
- Working on large sized projects with multiple teams collaborating with APIs outside of the NodeJS back end
- Building multiple CSS frameworks
- Transferring business requirements into design and architecture sub-systems as part of the technical implementation
- Implementing a back end for front end
- Writing the appropriate end-to-end tests
- Collaborating with creative and UX designers regarding build design systems
- Great communication skills, in particular: presenting, collaborating and partnering with stakeholders
- Confidently resolving challenges on a complex project and being responsible for outcomes, code and engineering quality
